A classic, traditional suit for a baby boy to wear for a special occasion; a Christening or wedding perhaps? A truly special outfit. This 2-piece outfit is expertly hand made in white pure Irish linen for a precious little baby boy. It is classically styled in our English way, with a little European influence…… The A-line top fastens at the back. It has small peter pan collar and 2 knife-pleats at the front with 4 decorative mother of pearl buttons. I have hand embroidered, with a tiny running stitch, around the sleeve edges and down the pressed edges of each pleat with white embroidery thread. The romper bottoms, influenced by a vintage pattern, fasten at either side of the waist and have tabs which overlap the openings and button at the front waist. The back waist is elasticated and the legs have tiny tucks to help control the roomy leg openings. There are 3 buttons under the crotch for easy diaper/nappy changing. These are fully lined with white cotton lawn. Sizes:- Choose from 3m, 6m, 12m, 18m, 2y. Please state the required size when ordering. If you need any assistance please email me and I’ll be happy to help. NB. This is custom made using our own original and copyrighted pattern, exclusive to ourselves. PLEASE ALLOW 2-3 WEEKS FOR MAKING YOUR SIZE. Wash care:- The whole suit can be washed at 30-40deg. Sizing:- I design and make all the clothes I sell, including drafting the (copyrighted) pattern to my size chart (http://www.patriciasmith.co.uk/size-chart.php) and specifications. This means that any clothing you buy from me will always be consistent in size across the range of styles. (I know how difficult it can be buying online from different companies!). However, I specialise in bespoke (made-to-order) clothing for little ones, so if you need a special size please ask for details. Shipping:- I will ship almost anywhere the Post Office will allow. Your suit will be carefully pressed and packed in folds of tissue paper and shipped in a garment box. Then all you have to do is give it a little shake and put it on your little one! If it’s for a gift, then it needs little else except your own card! (Paper and cardboard are recycleable, making it ecologically sound for our precious world).
