A romantic beauty in a soft, muted peach tulle & lace over taffeta. This circa 1950’s dress features a sweetheart neckline beneath an overlay of pinch-pleated fine tulle creating the wide shoulder straps and little wisp of a cap sleeve. Classic, flattering silhouette with nipped waist and flared skirt. Saw tooth lace pattern surrounds the upper hip blending into the fine mesh/tulle skirt. Matching peach satin taffeta skirt beneath. Original matching belt included. Boned bodice, both front and back. Side metal zipper works smoothly. Displayed with a crinoline, not included in sale. Perfect for prom, wedding or your most special occasion! *necklace not included in sale **color is a muted peach with a hint of pink, kind of a salmon-pink, a bit softer and less saturated than some of the photos. please bear in mind as well that colors will vary from one computer monitor to the next. Measurements: These are the measurements of the dress. Please compare your own measurements and leave an inch or two for personal comfort. You’ll need to wear a strapless bra if you don’t want your straps to show through the tulle. Bust – 38″ Waist – 30.25″ Hips – free to 49″ Shoulder to Waist – 16.5″ Waist to Hem – 30″ to bottom of taffeta skirt, tulle is a couple of inches longer Hem Circumference – taffeta is 98″, tulle is a full circle skirt Condition: Very good condition. There are no stains or odors and there are no holes at all in the tulle. There are, however, many holes in the lace portion of the dress. Most are not noticeable at all due to the taffeta of the same color beneath. There are a few around the hip area that are more noticeable. The dress is gorgeous and in a “real body” size; definitely wearable but you would need to be comfortable with this flaw.
