Please note, as advised by our silk supplier, that silk coloured fabrics can vary a little in tone from one dye batch to another – it is a natural process and pale blue is, apparently, a tricky colour to reproduce! Silk colours listed as ‘slub’ silk have a very defined texture – you can see the tracks & irregularities of the natural weave; a few of the colours available are in ‘smooth’ silk which has a tight weave with a more even finish. All the silks may contain minor variations of texture – these are expected characteristics of natural silk yarn and not defects. The silk sash is an easy shape to iron, but please use a good, clean, dry iron on the ‘silk/wool’ setting. With every sash we send out our special tips on how to tie a perfect bow.
