Sensory Activity CLOTH BOOK, Stimulation Contrasting Pattern, Drool-proof Tear-resistant Washable Soft Fabric, High Contrast Baby Infant Toy – Etsy

I designed this book based on knowledge from neurobiology to adapt it to the cognitive abilities of a baby. Made of safe materials of the highest quality with a certificate OEKO-TEX® | STANDARD 100, using sublimation printing. Format: 4.3 in x 4.3 in (11 cm x 11 cm), 8 pages; Four rubber teethers soothing-massages gums; It can be washed in a washing machine; Hygienically packed in PP foil. Cover fabric is soft like silk and unusually permanent, it also does not crease, it does not get dirty and it dries quickly. The book is filled with special foam ensuring hygiene and springiness. Pages do not curl, exposing illustrations perfectly. “WHERE IS YOUR HAND? PUT YOUR HAND ON THE BOOK” Playing with this book is a perfect exercise of an infant’s developing eyesight giving a lot of advantages: • it trains eye accommodation • it develops observation skills and eye-hand coordination • It prevents sight deficiencies engaging eye muscles to make coordinated movements A book cover image creates a type of layout in a baby’s memory which makes sense of next illustrations: Recognizing a hand shape among vertical lines is harder than among horizontal ones. Our eyes are arranged horizontally to see a horizon line better. Because of this fact, we prefer reading horizontal texts and watching panoramic films. Middle pages of the book stimulate receptor systems responding to colors like yellow/blue and green/red. These receptor systems are responsible for seeing all colors. Along straight lines, there are graphic elements activating receptors which are in charge of so-called image stabilization as well as completing the picture that you see. On the account of this fact, you can have an impression that horizontal lines are not parallel. Left: In the future, your baby’s eyes will be staring at the text, so let him get used to it. The image may stimulate the left side of the brain more. Right: The branch structure is a common motif in nature that is very thought-stimulating (mind maps). This illustration may stimulate the more right side of the brain. In general, this pages are intentionally swapped in order to possibly lead nerve impulses through the interhemispheric junctions. It’s brilliant in its simplicity! The images are optometrically adjusted for viewing by infants from a distance of about 10 in (25 cm).
