The most beautiful shades of blue play through out the materials and embellishments, and there are so many! The princess seamed bodice is fitted, boned and lined. It is constructed from blue satin, and embellished with corded floral motif lace appliques that form scalloped edges along the neck and slightly dropped basque waistline. The appliques sparkle, twinkle and glitter with hand applied iridescent aurora borealis sequins and crystal beadwork. The unique full skirt features tiers of pleated tulle bordered with the same embellished corded lace appliques used in the bodice. The skirt flows out to a full 120″ hem sweep; it is designed to be worn with a hoop skirt for extra fullness (see image #1). There are a total of 6 layers to the skirt: a smooth satin inner lining, then a layer of tulle, a crinoline attached to satin, another layer of a lighter shade of blue satin, another tulle, and then the fabulous outerskirt of light blue tiers of pleated tulle adorned with lace sequins and beads draped scalloped swag style to meet off center to the right (to the left of the beholder). There are built in bra cups sewn in between the layers for support. There are also hook and eyes sewn onto the inner bodice near the top in case straps are desired, or for attaching to a strapless bra for a more fitted shaping. Throughout there is evidence of high end designer quality and expert craftsmanship, and it was made in the USA! Breathtaking does not even come close to being an adequate description of how amazingly beautiful this dress is! Truly a unique find for your very special occasion. In mint condition, never worn.
