Exquisite, one of a kind wedding dress made by me as a tribute to Sarah’s beautiful ball dress in the fantasy film ‘Labyrinth’. It is not a copy of the dress from the film but a modern interpretation which perfectly captures the original’s dreamy beauty while being completely on trend, so if someone is not a fan of the 1980’s film they’ll still love this dress! This dress will be made new and bespoke to your measurements, colours and design tweaks from £2600, please get in touch to discuss your bespoke requirements. www.felicitywestmacott.co.uk see my website for more examples of my work, testimonials and info on the bespoke making process. You should always budget for professional, fine tuning, size alterations after purchase when buying a couture dress. I am happy to advise, just get in touch! DESIGN: The dress is made in three parts with a main dress, removable long sleeves and full overskirt. The removable sleeves and over skirt attach with tiny invisible poppas so the dress can be worn with or without, or with a change during the day. The main dress is made from soft ivory satin with a fitted and lightly boned bodice with sweetheart neckline and off the shoulder straps made from mixed metallic beaded lace. Delicate floral silver lace is hand appliquéd to the bodice and fades out onto the top of the skirt The neckline lace extends all round the back above a low back line filled with illusion mesh (for pale or mid colour skin). The skirt fitted to the hip and flares gently from mid thigh with a single layer of tulle over the satin and a small train at the back. The dress closes with a concealed zip on one side. The sleeves are made from beaded lace, fitted and long to the wrist. Ivory organza double puffs with hand appliquéd lace motifs echo the famously big sleeves of the inspiration dress. The overskirt is made from silver silk organza pleated to the waist for fullness and with a dreamy waterfall train detail at the back. It attaches at the natural waistline and is divided at the front to reveal the main skirt beneath. www.felicitywestmacott.co.uk see my website for more examples of my work, testimonials and info on the bespoke making process.
