One of their most iconic matching moments was during their wedding reception in 1999 when they wore daring purple Antonio Berardi looks. Victoria donned a vibrant violet gown featuring a thigh-high slit and an asymmetrical strap covered with roses, while David sported a tuxedo in the same hue and complemented his bride’s floral frock with a purple rose corsage. A few years later, the pair were a vision in white while wearing likeminded Dolce & Gabbana looks at the 2003 MTV Movie Awards.
Despite their numerous matching ensembles, Victoria previously admitted that there is one fashion faux pas that still “haunts” her to this day. The pair’s identical black leather jackets and pants from 1999 were what the songstress called an inappropriate outfit during the Versace dinner, where they wore Gucci. However, she explained that they really considered those outfits and thought of all the details with naivete that was just so sweet.
