Skims, the popular shapewear brand established by Kim Kardashian, has announced its biggest expansion of shapewear designs since its launch in 2019. The brand teased a host of new styles on Monday, which will be available for purchase from April 27. The launch is as much about the stars who appear in Skims’ campaign as it is about the new designs. Campaign stars include PinkPantheress, RAYE, Ice Spice, and Nessa Barrett.
“I’m excited to launch this next generation of Skims shapewear with a campaign that celebrates these incredible musical artists,” Kardashian said in a press release. “We are so proud to see how Skims has grown over the last two years, and are thrilled to share this product expansion with our customers around the world.”
Among the new wares is the Everyday Sculpt Collection, which will include lightweight pieces ranging from the Everyday Sculpt Bralette to the Open Bust Catsuit. Additionally, there will be 15 new cuts available for the brand’s existing Seamless Sculpt Collection, including fresh takes on its popular Sculpting Bodysuit.
These new styles are sure to be popular given that Skims has gone viral many times before with its shapewear designs. The popular brand appears to have a winning formula, which involves enlisting buzzy stars to model for the brand. The latest campaign follows a recent underwear campaign with SZA and other ads featuring “White Lotus” stars Simona Tabasco and Beatrice Grannò, as well as former Victoria’s Secret Angels.
The brand have also released a range of new products in recent years, including activewear and swimwear. Given the brand’s popularity and the star-studded campaign, these new shapewear designs are expected to be in demand. Shoppers should therefore be ready to move quickly when the launch occurs on April 27.
Overall, Skims’ new collection is a testament to the brand’s commitment to inclusivity and body positivity. It has become clear that Skims has changed the game when it comes to shapewear, offering a range of styles that empower its customers to feel both comfortable and confident.
