This pattern is named for my mother’s dog Peggy, a wire-haired Jack Russell for whom I designed this sweater. Though it was made for a small to medium-sized dog, the ribbing allows for plenty of give to accommodate dogs of different shapes and sizes. The neck can also be rolled back, as shown. I knit it in machine-washable acrylic, but feel free to substitute any kind of worsted-weight yarn for this project. This is a PDF pattern that you can download upon purchase.
