New Years Eve Party Outfit Petite Sequin Dress

If you’re still on the lookout for a party outfit that won’t break the bank, check my recent try-on post for a few restocks, including this popular navy kimono dress that’s now fully available in petites! Express has been hitting all the holiday texture notes with velvet, satin, and faux fur so I’ve been waiting for an elegant sequin piece to come into the mix. This one is a simple but classic sequin slip dress with adjustable shoulder straps and a figure grazing silhouette. It’s currently 50% off making it a very good price for a sequin dress, and will arrive in time for New Year’s Eve festivities (so hard to believe 2020 is around the corner)! To winterize this little piece, I added tights, a faux fur jacket as a middle insulating layer, and topped it off with a jewel toned boucle coat. I also tried on the second color in this dress, which is actually quite accurately described as a garnet red.
