It’s a consensus: You love illustrations and you love street style, right? So in honor of Fashion Week, we’ve wrangled fashion illustrator Alex Tang to create exclusive sketches of the most cool, colorful, interesting, and—sometimes—outrageously crazy looks seen on the streets of NYFW. It never feels like Fashion Week in any city until we’re blessed with yet another impossibly chic Miroslava Duma sighting. The Russian fashion writer and her street-style-friendly looks always end up on our best-dressed lists, so it’s about time we immortalize her (and her outfit) via illustration. The photogs caught the style star outside the Victoria Beckham show in coordinated separates—a colorfully structured animal-print top cinched with a metal-plated belt paired with cobalt blue wide-leg trousers. She brought the whole look together with a luxe quilted red and blue clutch. As Alex puts it, “She’s Miroslava Duma. Street-style icon. She can’t do wrong!” What more can we say?
